Well done on Scifest@school 2019!

A big congratulations to all who made Scifest@school 2019 so great this year. It was held on Wednesday 30th January.

The winning teams were as follows…

Fourth Place: The effects of Chromesthesia when listening to different genres of music – Jack Hourigan, Ronan Brennan

Highly Commended: Fears & Phobias – Sophie Mulhall, Emily Moriarity

Highly Commended: To investigate a side effect of the drug bechlomethasone dipropionate found in steroid inhalers – Sinead McEvoy, Amy Fitzpatrick

Best Display: A Statistical analysis of whether or not smell is a key part of taste – Nicole Mernagh, Nadia Scott, Niamh McDonald

Best Communicator: The effect of gaming on social life and personality – Alex McLachlan
